Design is a medium by which we shape our world. Given the spread of Western influenced culture and the rise of consumer-based economies designed objects have become ubiquitous in people's lives and increasingly function as the leading cultural indicators of who we are as a society and where we are going.
Curated by Daniel Jasper, Assistant Professor of Graphic Design, Products of Our Time will explore the interstices of design, art and cultural commentary highlighting consumer inspired designed objects as a bellwether of our times.
